Women's Day
The spring breeze in March is soft and warming to the heart.
Today is International Women's Day, and to thank all the female teachers for their dedication, the Trade Union Committee of RGSGNJ has sent a special token of appreciation.
The "She" of RGSGNJ are in different positions, writing about their own beauty and demonstrating with confidence the elegance of women in the new era.
In order to discover these beautiful women, the school's Trade Union Committee organised a "Discover Her Power" event to capture the dynamic figures in different positions.

Lili Ma｜Primary school Chinese teacher

Since coming to RGSGNJ, I have always been warmed by this big, loving family. When I encounter bottlenecks at work, I have the understanding and help of my leaders and colleagues; when I walk into the classroom every day, I am greeted by the smiling faces of my students; as a teacher, my greatest sense of achievement and happiness comes from my students, and I hope I can be like a child, a seed that keeps the ability to grow and grows together with my children!

I am the class teacher of Grade 6 and the mathematics teacher of Grade 5 and 6. I have been working with my classmates to communicate with them about their lives and their health, and to discuss their learning methods. More importantly, I care for the children to know how to behave, to be orderly and to take care of others.

I have led teams to the FBLA where students came fourth in the country, the NEC where students won with full marks, the IEO where students scored high marks to reach the national stage, the BPA Business Challenge where students won the national gold medal and now I am planning the stock trading competition.

One of the best things about working at RGSGNJ is how much we celebrate the achievements of our RGSGNJ community, and there is certainly much to celebrate! As housemistress of Hamonde, I have the opportunity to get to know many of our students and staff and I am frequently inspired by their thoughtfulness and talents. As today is Women’s Day, I would like to highlight the many wonderful women on our team. It is a privilege to work with you and to learn from you all.

A large part of my job is to provide a better service to our staff, so that they can adapt to school life better and faster and concentrate fully on their work. Foreign teachers are far from home, do not speak the same language and have different habits, so they need to spend more time adapting to school life.
